About the Presenters:
Heidi Bausch-Ryan, Psy.D., LP, mental health professional and the Director of Training at CARE Counseling. For the past seven years, Dr. Bausch-Ryan has gained clinical training and professional experience as a generalist practitioner: on inpatient behavioral health units, at an outpatient mental health practice, in a university department of psychiatry, and at a residential substance use treatment center. She has delivered professional training presentations on topic such as modalities of therapy, grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, co-occurring concerns, recovery pathways, and resiliency.
Hannah Dufek, MS, LADC, LPCC mental health practitioner and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Specialist at CARE Counseling. Prior to working in outpatient mental health, Hannah worked in higher education as a career and academic advisor and participated in leading panels and discussions regarding DEI initiatives at the university. She has additional professional experience working at an intensive residential treatment facility as well as community mental health work supporting refugees and immigrants. Hannah has studied the experiences of marginalized groups in therapy and has training in assessing and treating substance use and recovery in individual and group settings.
Kierst Finsand, Psy.D. LP, is a psychologist and Associate Director of Clinical services at CARE Counseling. Kierst has studied the experiences of grief and trauma for those experiencing infertility and works frequently with clients experiencing a wide range of these narratives. Kierst has provided professional trainings on grief, resilience, trauma and vicarious trauma, and therapy modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Dr. Kierst Finsand has worked in university counseling supporting students in their transitions to a new environment and has worked in providing higher level of care intensive programming in an eating disorder recovery setting. Kierst’s clinical interests include grief and loss, eating disorders, somatic exploration and trauma, and resilience.
Guest Speakers: The following speakers have professional experience and specialized training in the corresponding trauma-informed topic/intervention and will speak to this during the third session of training series.

To receive 1 CE credit(s): Clinicians will need to attend the full training hour and obtain a passing post test score (max of 3 attempts allotted). CARE maintains attendance records of all continuing education event attendees for a period of at least three years.
