CARE Counseling has partnered with Kristen Mark, PhD, MHP, from the Institute for Sexual & Gender Health at University of Minnesota Medical School, to host this presentation on sexuality for all abilities. Dr. Mark specializes in sexual health and sexuality education, especially for vulnerable populations. She will share about common assumptions regarding sexuality with different forms of ability along with ways of exploring sexuality with all abilities in our therapy practice.

About the Presenter:
Kristen Mark, PhD, MPH is the Joycelyn Elders Endowed Chair and Professor for Sexual Health Education at the Institute for Sexual & Gender Health in the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health at University of Minnesota Medical School. She is a sex and relationships researcher, educator, and therapist. Before joining UMN last year, she was a Professor and Director of the Sexual Health Promotion Lab at University of Kentucky for 9 years. Dr. Mark specializes in sexual health and sexuality education, especially for vulnerable populations. She is passionate about ensuring sexual health is taught as an integral part of health and that the right to sexual pleasure for all people is emphasized through education and training. Dr. Mark has published her work through over 60 peer reviewed journal articles, more than 150 national and international conferences, and values disseminating relationship and sexual health science to the public through mainstream media. This continuing education activity is approved by the MN Board of Psychology (LPC/LPCC) for one credit hour. Clinicians will need to attend the full session to receive CE.
