The Role of Pain Science in Physical Therapy | 1 CE Credit

CARE Counseling has partnered with Motion Minnesota to provide a Grand Rounds training on the role of pain science in physical therapy. Dr. Maggie Henjum, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, Owner and CEO of Motion + Therapy Partners, will provide an overview on physical therapy, the role of pain, and effective ways of working with pain in therapy. Dr. Henjum is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist and is a faculty member at the University of Minnesota, and South College in their doctoral program and Evidence in Motion in their residency and fellowship programs. She has worked for the Olympic Ski team as medical staff since 2017, where she gets to see the most remote areas of the world helping people move, stay healthy and happy.
