CARE Counseling has partnered Dr. Sarah Sifers, clinical supervisor and licensed psychologist at CARE Counseling for this training on Mindfulness Based Ecotherapy. Dr. Sarah Sifers has a PhD in Clinical Child Psychology and is a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional, Mayo Clinic Certified Wellness Coach, and a Certified Mindfulness-Based Ecotherapy Facilitator. This presentation provides a brief overview of ecotherapy as a mental health treatment. The orientation of mindfulness-based ecotherapy is described, with specific techniques modeled. Additional resources to pursue learning about mindfulness-based ecotherapy are provided.
