Grand Rounds : Disenfranchised Grief | 2 CE Credits

CARE Counseling has partnered with Fiyyaz Karim, Psy.D., resident faculty member in the Master of Professional Studies in Integrated Behavioral Health and Master of Professional Studies in Addictions Counseling Programs at the University of Minnesota. Fiyyaz specializes in grief, loss, and trauma, with an emphasis on disenfranchised losses. They will share on concepts and aspects of disenfranchised grief, including grief and loss concepts, grieving styles, and ways to conceptualize grief. Attendees will also learn about associated grief and loss theories along with evidence-based grief-oriented therapy interventions to apply in psychotherapy practice.
