CARE Counseling has partnered with Pregnancy and Postpartum Support MN, an organization that engages parents, families, and professionals to promote optimal emotional well-being during pregnancy and postpartum. Joining us from PPSM, is Dr. Elizabeth Adedokun, PhD, LMFT, PMH-C, who is trained in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International and has a passion for supporting parents and their emotional health before, during, and after pregnancy. Dr. Adedokun will provide an overview of perinatal anxiety including prevalence, screening, cultural factors, and treatment interventions.

About the Presenter:
Dr. Elizabeth Adedokun, PhD, LMFT, PMH-C, has over 8 years of experience working with adolescent and families from an attachment approach. Dr. Adedokun is certified in Perinatal mental health and also incorporates attachment theory during work with parents. Dr. Adedokun is passionate about working with mothers on attachment with their children. Over the last 5 years, Dr. Adedokun has present on attachment theory and adolescent mental health. Dr. Adedokun has received her training from Northwestern University and Drexel University.
