Sleep and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBTI) | 1 CE Credit

CARE Counseling has partnered with Samantha Anders, PhD, LP, for this training on sleep concerns and CBTI. Dr. Anders is a psychologist in private practice and an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota. She worked for 5 years at the Minnesota Regional Sleep Disorders Clinic at Hennepin Healthcare and has loved helping people improve their sleep using evidence based methods for over 10 years. She will share some background on how sleep works, how to conceptualize sleep issues in clients, and some strategies to try.

About the Presenter:

Samantha Anders, PhD, LP is a psychologist in private practice and an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota. She worked at the Minnesota Regional Sleep Disorder Center at Hennepin Healthcare for 5 years and has loved helping people sleep better for over 10 years using evidence based methods. She is active member of the Society for Behavioral Sleep Medicine, regularly attends and presents at sleep and mental health conferences and loves to help clinicians learn how to help their clients sleep better.

CARE Counseling is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. CARE maintains responsibility for this program and its content. It is the responsibility of each learner to verify that continuing education earned at CARE or elsewhere meets the requirements for their State and individual license.

To receive 1 CE credit(s): Clinicians will need to attend the full training hour and obtain a passing post test score (max of 3 attempts allotted).  CARE maintains attendance records of all continuing education event attendees for a period of at least three years.
